I've gone barking mad and I'm taking part in the PAWGUST challenge to raise funds for Blind Low Vision NZ’s guide dogs.

Rain, hail or shine, this August I will be walking every single day!

Did you know it costs in excess of $100,000 to breed, raise and train just ONE Guide Dog?! And with thousands of dogs being trained each year, every dollar counts. I need your help so that together, we can create a world where everyone who needs a Guide Dog, has a Guide Dog.

Another few kilometres added towards our 100 km PAWGUST challenge in support of Blind Low Vision NZ. One step at a time, we're making every walk count. Thank you for supporting us!

Me? I chase attention... that's how I became a foster fail.
Hi, I'm Vallee! 1 year and 4 month old Staffy bulldog mix.
Before you ask... I'm named afte the brave and beloved queen and consort of the revered Tamil deity, Lord Murugan. My name stands for courage, strength, and grace. I'd like to think I live up to it... although they'd probably add professional troublemaker and full-time drama queen.

I'm basically a four-legged vacuum cleaner. Bananas? Gone. Pumpkin? Gone. Chicken? Definitely gone. Dried liver? I can hear that packet open even if its at another edge of the universe. If you're eating, I should probably get a taste too. It's only fair.

For reasons even I can't explain, uniforms and dark hoodies make me instantly suspicious. The neighbourhood needs a security officer, and I've accepted the job.

I love making new friends. I'm gentle with puppies, little dogs, and kids but if a big dog wants to wrestle... game on!
I'm also pretty clever. Show me a trick once, and I'll probably learn it before you say "Good Girl".

I'm a professional attention seeker. If someone else is getting cuddles, don't worry... I'll be there in five seconds. I also know all the important words like "walk," "dog park," and my personal favourite... "banana!"
I'm not much of a kisser, but I give the best hugs. Oh, and for some reason, I've always had a soft spot for men. No idea why!
And every night, without fail, at exactly 3:50 a.m., I sneak into the middle of Mum and Dad's bed. They think it's their bed...
...I just let them believe that.
