10 Stunning Auckland walks to help you reach your PAWGUST goal

26 Jun 2026

Winter in Auckland does’t have to mean staying indoors.

If you are looking for inspiration for places to walk your dogl, Auckland has plenty of great walking spots to explore. From coastal paths and regional parks to city walks and scenic reserves, there is something for every dog and every fitness level.

This August, PAWGUST is giving people and their dogs a great reason to get outside and get moving. Whether your goal is 60km, 100km, or 125km, every step you take during the 31-day challenge helps raise funds for Blind Low Vision NZ Guide Dogs.

The funds raised through PAWGUST help support the breeding, raising, and training of gGuide dogs, helping create life-changing partnerships with people who are blind, deafblind, or have low vision.
