SUPPORT MY CHALLENGE TO RAISE GUIDE DOGS
I’ve officially gone barking mad and signed up for PAWGUST, raising funds for Blind Low Vision NZ’s guide dogs, alongside the rest of Husk (oh the irony of having no huskies amongst us)!
Rain, hail or whatever Dorkland decides to throw at me, I’ll be walking every single day in August. I don’t actually own a fur baby, which is a slight flaw in the plan, but thankfully I have some excellent schnoodles available to borrow - Quade (from work) and Otto (from my bestie) - and failing that, I'll find a friend to drag along.
It costs more than $100k to breed, raise and train just one guide dog, so every donation genuinely helps. If you can spare a few dollars to support my month of damp shoes, borrowed dogs and questionable life choices, I’d be hugely grateful.
